Education is the foundation of any society and economy. Due to the fact that 3D printing is a new technology on a consumer level to the Trinidadian market, it is extremely important to educate especially the younger and upcoming generations about this amazing tool, which can impact and change our economy in the long-term.

We have already executed some initiatives, including the Partners In Education Read-a-Thon Programme with primary and secondary schools, whereby we provide reading material to the schools on the different applications of 3D printing. Many topics include applications to: music, aerospace, art, fashion (clothing, jewelry and shoes), geography, the sciences (chemistry, biology, physics), engineering, medicine, toys, cars, and much more. By educating these young and curious minds, we are already concretizing the 3D trend in the Trinbagonian market.

In addition, we have also teamed up with several Tertiary Education institutions to bring 3D technology and its applications to students. Persons in the field of architecture, engineering, construction, medicine and even business can use these 3D printers as tools to make prototypes, understand complex concepts, design moving parts, to print textbook models into 3D diagrams, and more. We also offer intensive 5-day courses on 3D printing and design to enable persons to use our products correctly to maximize each unit's potential.

In our professional opinion, we think that 3D printers will be a staple in many Trinidadian and Tobagonian homes by 2025, and will mirror a product lifecycle similar to that of the desktop computer, household microwave and mobile phone.

Twenty years ago, we couldn't imagine doing anything besides making calls on our mobile phones, and today it is a necessity for all, even young children and the elderly. With the many advances in technology, one can only imagine the many possibilities to come in the 3D printing industry in the near future.

If you or someone you know is an educator and is interested in getting some 3D printers for educational purposes, call us for a consultation meeting. We may be able to offer special prices for educational purposes, based on some variables.

In the traditional business model, companies are required to go to a distributor or supplier, purchase inventories in bulk, then proceed to execute a number of promotional, marketing and advertising tactics to get their products sold. There is no guarantee that these products would be sold, and the items may come with a slight defect in the design which may devalue it significantly. This traditional model has set up thousands of entrpreneurs and businesses for failure.

With 3D Printing, this traditional model becomes outdated.

Through the use of 3D Printing, there is no need for you to have a supplier or distrutor,as you do not need to invest in inventories. Rather, you print items as you get orders, thus eliminating waste items that may not have previously been sold. In addition, each custmer can have their items customized to their specific needs, thus bringing more value to the product.

There is also a vibrant online 3D community, that offers free designs for modifications, and we also offer intensive 5-day 3D courses to aid persons in designing and producing their own 3D items. Some links for these communities can be found HERE.

We are also available for consultation meetings, at no cost to you, to discuss starting up your own 3D business, whether you are in the architecture, engineering, medicine, gaming, entertainment, retail, clothing, automobile, computer, or even art industry.

When 3D Printing was invented in the 1980's by Charles Hull, at that time applications were only suited for the architecture industry, as well as engineering and construction. Today, even though there have been applications to many different industries, being a part of Fojo Design and Develop, a very prominent architecture firm in the Caribbean, we like to stay grounded to our roots.

3D Printing is ideal for rapid prototyping, which is extremely useful in the field of architecture, engineering and construction. By utilizing this method, one can easily identify design flaws, if any, when the final 3D object is produced. This method can potentially save a lot of costs for prototypes which would have been a daunting task to produce through traditional means.

Also, having affiliations with our architecture company, we have 3D modelers and designers who have more than one hundred years experience combined, who can also assist with prototyping for these fields.

3D Printing can surely be incorporated into the fashion and arts industries. Our parent company, Cubify, has recently launched the Fabricate textiles, which can be printed on special mesh fabric and sewn directly onto clothing items. This was even featured on Project Runway, Season 14, which you can view HERE.

Aside from this, there are many artists who are applying their imaginative 2D concepts to produce complex 3D objects. Many items can be produced, including jewelry items, shoes, interior decor pieces, small furniture, picture frames, and so much more.

With our wealth of resources and knowledge, we can accurately guide you to a better-informed purchase decision, to help you establish your creativity in 3D. We are available for free consultation meetings by appointment.

3D Printing can be applied to any and every industry, even the culinary arts. Currently we are offering services to create custom-shaped molds, to aid in food preparation for complex and custom designs.

In addition to the above, our parent company, Cubify, is also working together with Hershey's to develop the CocoJet, which can print objects directly in chocolate. We are also anticipating the launch of the FoodJet which can print and mold food items via the 3D software, similarly to the regular desktop 3D printers.

Right now, we are developing a client's brand to retail custom-shaped chocolates. We work hand in hand with them to produce the items required for their process, and we consult with them from time to time to ensure that we are giving the client exactly what they had invisioned, and more.

The 3D technology is so versatile, that retailers can now be their own supplier and stop importing goods. By doing this, our deficit budget will be cut drastically, due to less imports, and we will be able to build a sustainable economy for our future generations.

With a huge wealth of resources, which can be found HERE, one can simply go online, find a design, ask us to modify it at their custom requirements, and proceed to print on demand. Another option would be to purchae the printers and print the items from the convenience of your home or office, while we do all the design work.

There are many options and variables that can be explored with this new technology, and we encourage all interested persons to seek a consultation meeting, at no cost to you, to explore how this 3D wave of technology can drastically change your life and revenues.
